It is not important to be in elite classes to know about NFTs today, you can hear about this phenomenon from all the cracks. Today some collections are sold for billions annually. And this situation attracts big players of the technological segment like Meta or Twitter.

Previous year NFTs,  also presented as non-fungible tokens, changed hands for a sum which is equal to 40 billion dollars. And famous PSG Brazilian football star bought several NFTs for his own collection.

Two pieces from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection were sold to Neymar on OpenSea platform, which is a popular marketplace for trading of NFTs.  He spent more than a million euros on a couple of interesting pictures.

Transactions were placed in ETH cryptocurrency which is fully known as Ethereum and celebrity  paid 159.99 ETH for the first number and 189.69 ETH for another one. In US dollars it is equal to $521,000 for the number one and $624,000 for the second piece.

The purchasing was made through a personalized account of OpenSea. On this platform, a football star has the nickname EneJay. As Neymar said he wasn't the only one in this deal. Two other footballers shared the sum with him to own these pieces from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection. His PSG colleagues Marco Verratti and Leandro Paredes became his accomplices in the deal and shared a deal in dollars. But no-one from them decided to post pictures and news on social media. Only Neymar notified the audience about purchased NFTs.

Neymar and friends are not the first stars which were attracted by Bored Apes. Previously such celebrities as Eminem, Jimmy Fallon, Gunna or Stephen Curry bought their own pieces of the collection, some of them even got special tattoos.
