Using Tony Fadell, Ledger will design a new hardware wallet

Ledger, a manufacturer of cryptocurrency wallets, and Tony Fadell, the man behind the iPod, just released the Ledger Stax.

According to Pascal Gauthier, CEO and chairman of Ledger, the company's goal is to make the Stax into a gadget that is "more elegant and practical than the Nano S."

Ledger's chief experience officer, Ian Rogers, recently made an announcement that the company was looking to build "something that is more entertaining and aligns with where culture is headed."

The wallet emphasizes its functions, making it seem like a credit card reader with built-in magnets that allow for the easy stacking of numerous readers. There is a transaction history and NFT display that wraps around the device's outside in e-ink.

Ledger Stack will cost $279, while the Nano S Plus costs $79 and the Nano X Wallet costs $149.

Newly, the Ledger Stack may be purchased for $279, which is more than the $79 and $149 prices of the Nano S Plus and Nano X Wallet, respectively.

After the demise of the centralized cryptocurrency exchange FTX and other crypto businesses, now is the ideal moment for Ledger to release a new hardware wallet, as self-custody is gaining popularity.
