Web3 project "Probably Nothing" led by Jeremy Fall has teamed up with Mexican soda brand "Jarritos" to launch a limited-time NFT collection for Valentine's Day. The collection, titled "Fourteen-Twenty-Three," will feature 14 artworks inspired by traditional Mexican culture and the colors of Jarritos' nostalgic soda flavors.

The NFTs will be available for purchase on February 14 for 48 hours on OpenSea, a popular NFT marketplace. Each token is priced at 0.03 ETH, which is approximately $44 at the time of writing.

After the initial release, NFT holders will have two days to "burn" the tokens and claim their reward: exclusive physical collectibles such as a Jarritos x Probably Nothing jacket, 3d-printed Jarritos x Probably Nothing Alebrije figurines, or museum-quality physical prints of selected NFT artworks. It's important to note that those who do not burn their NFTs will not be eligible for any additional benefits.

Jarritos is a trailblazer in web3 marketing, with a dedicated "jarritos.eth" Ethereum name service domain, NFT promotions on their Twitter page, and a Discord channel for NFT releases and other web3 projects.

This is not the first time a food company has delved into the world of web3. In August 2022, American fast food chain Taco Bell offered a metaverse wedding package, while McDonald's launched a Lunar New Year campaign in the metaverse earlier this year. Cookie brand Oreo also created a metaverse experience with games and prizes.
